Core Components Extended
Decentralized Media and Assets Mosaic's Chainlet will facilitate handling media and assets with off-chain logic, supporting both centralized solutions (AWS S3, Azure) and decentralized solutions (IPFS, Swarm). Developers are encouraged to choose the best fit for their applications, with a preference for centralized solutions due to their maturity and simplicity.
Client Library/Framework Mosaic will offer libraries and frameworks for developing web, iOS, and Android applications. These libraries, compatible with frameworks like Meteor, VUE, and React, enable developers to focus on client-side development while leveraging Mosaic's blockchain capabilities. The platform supports real-time communication via HTTPS and WebSocket, allowing for traditional application development approaches.
The Token Economy and Service Mosaic's token economy will revolve around the Mosaic Token (MSP), designed for high-performance transactions (170,000+ Tx/s). MSP serves as a utility token for using Mosaic services, with developers paying transaction fees on behalf of users. The platform also supports custom application tokens and potential ICOs.
Miners and the Marketplace Mosaic will enable Resource Miners to provide computing resources and Component Miners to contribute software components, with smart contracts defining fee distribution. The Mosaic Marketplace, built on the platform, will list and rank reusable components, ensuring transparency and trust.
Token Foundation Services Mosaic's token services are implemented via Chainlet components, ensuring secure, high-performance token management. Developers can easily handle events and complex business logic with these components, which can be improved and extended by the community.
